About PACT Physio & Rehab
PACT Physio & Rehab is a boutique physiotherapy clinic in Miranda, led by Andrew Ellis. One standard of care, thorough and unhurried, whether you see us in the clinic or by telehealth.
Boutique care, led from the front
PACT Physio & Rehab was founded by Andrew Ellis on a simple idea, that physiotherapy should be done properly, with the time it actually needs. No 20 minute rush and no factory line. A clear diagnosis, honest advice, and a plan you understand and can follow.
Andrew leads the clinic in Miranda and is supported by a skilled team. Whether you come in for hands on treatment or see us by telehealth through PACT Virtual Care, you get the same thorough, evidence based care.

Andrew's story
Andrew graduated from the University of Wollongong in 2007 with a degree in Exercise Science. It was there, deep in anatomy study, that he became fixed on a puzzle: chronic injuries that never seemed to resolve with regular treatment. He was convinced there had to be a better way, and that conviction has driven his career ever since. He earned his place in the graduate entry Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney and graduated as a physiotherapist in 2009.
His first posting was a rural base hospital in the NSW Riverina, rotating through intensive care, surgical wards, outpatients and neurological rehabilitation. When he saw local patients waiting up to six months for outpatient physiotherapy, he opened his first practice as a brand new graduate, treating patients behind a curtain at the back of a local gym until the practice earned rooms of its own, and the hospital waiting list came down from months to weeks. In the same years he founded World Health Webinars, an online education platform built to close the professional development gap for rural clinicians. It delivered courses to more than 5,000 allied health clinicians across 14 countries.
Returning east, Andrew worked in private hospital rehabilitation and Sydney CBD private practice before moving into the field that shapes PACT today: occupational rehabilitation. Over the decade that followed he worked as a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant for national occupational rehabilitation providers, was promoted into a national role rolling out a work related activity program across the country, and later served as a Senior WHS and Injury Management Advisor inside large Australian organisations. He managed caseloads of injured workers, led an early intervention program, wrote return to work plans, delivered manual handling training and ergonomic assessments, and advised managers, HR teams and insurers on injury management.
That decade means Andrew has sat on every side of the workers compensation table: treating practitioner, rehabilitation consultant and employer advisor. He knows what a case manager needs, what an employer worries about, and what an injured worker is actually going through, and he brings all three perspectives into every work injury case at PACT.
Along the way he founded and led a multidisciplinary allied health clinic in Sydney's east, and in 2019 commenced his Executive MBA at UNSW. When his daughter arrived in 2022 he pressed pause on study to focus on family and on building PACT, with the final year of the MBA planned for 2027.
PACT Physio & Rehab opened in Miranda in December 2022, with PACT Virtual Care now carrying the same care to injured workers Australia wide. It is the clinic Andrew always believed physiotherapy needed: proper time, clear answers, and someone in your corner who understands every side of recovery.

How we work
We focus on chronic pain, dry needling and occupational injury, and we treat the cause, not just the symptom. For people managing a work injury, we handle the claim side and the reporting so you can focus on recovering.
Good care is a partnership. We take the time to understand your history and your goals, then build the plan around getting you back to what matters.
- Thorough, unhurried appointments
- Workers compensation and CTP billed directly to the insurer
- Same day clinical reports for compensable cases
- Telehealth across Australia when you cannot get in
What you will actually pay
The full fee is $165 for an initial visit and $142 for a follow up, and every appointment is a full, unhurried session with the time to work through complex, persistent problems. Once your cover is applied, here is what you actually pay.
Before any rebate. Private paying is welcome, and your fee buys the whole session, never a rushed 20 minutes.
A GP Chronic Disease Management referral rebates $61.80 on every visit, up to 5 a year.
The usual out of pocket once you claim on the spot, depending on your level of cover.
Nothing for you to pay at any visit. Accepted workers compensation and CTP motor accident claims are billed straight to your insurer, and we handle the paperwork.
The bars compare what an initial and a follow up visit cost you on each pathway.
