Why PACT for a motor accident injury

A motor accident claim is not just treatment, it is paperwork, insurer communication and a plan to get you back to work and normal life. That is the part many clinics leave to you.

Andrew is a Senior Rehabilitation Consultant and WHS Advisor with a background in occupational rehabilitation and injury management advice to insurers and employers. That same lens applies directly to motor accident recovery, so your care and your claim move together.

For injured people

What we do for you

From the first visit we treat the injury and take the claim load off your shoulders.

  • Rapid assessment and hands on treatment for whiplash, neck, back, shoulder and soft tissue injuries
  • Manage the complexities of your CTP claim and the paperwork
  • Communicate with your insurer and keep your Certificate of Capacity up to speed
  • Same day clinical reports so your claim keeps moving
  • A staged plan to get you back to driving, work and the things you do
  • Direct billing to your insurer, so there is no gap to pay
Certificate of Capacity

The same certificate as workers comp

CTP claims use the same Certificate of Capacity as workers compensation. Your nominated treating doctor completes it to describe your injury, your capacity and the treatment you need, and we work alongside it.

Our guide explains how it works and how your first physiotherapy sessions can be pre approved.

Good to know

You can usually get treatment regardless of fault

Under the NSW motor accident scheme, you can usually access treatment for your injuries in the early period of your claim even if you were at fault, on an accepted claim. We can help you get started, and your insurer confirms your entitlements for your situation.

The sooner you start the right treatment, the better, so do not wait to be seen.

Insurers

CTP insurers we work with

We treat motor accident claims and bill the insurer directly. That includes the main NSW CTP insurers.

  • NRMA
  • QBE
  • GIO
  • Allianz
Telehealth

If you cannot get to Miranda

Getting around after an accident can be hard. PACT Virtual Care offers telehealth physiotherapy across NSW, so you can be assessed and guided from home. Telehealth under a claim can need your insurer's approval, which we help arrange.

Cost

No out of pocket cost

On an accepted workers compensation or CTP claim, your treatment is billed directly to the insurer. There is no gap and nothing for you to pay at your appointment, and we handle the invoicing for you. If you are a private patient, see our fees.
