Search for a physio in the Sutherland Shire and you will meet plenty of confident labels. Here is the reality: physiotherapists in Australia are not ranked by any official body, and national advertising rules restrict registered health practices from claiming to be better than others, because claims like that cannot be verified. PACT Physio & Rehab is a single clinic at Unit 1/196 Sylvania Road, Miranda, founded and led by physiotherapist Andrew Ellis. Founded and led by Andrew Ellis
PACT was founded by Andrew Ellis, our principal physiotherapist. Alongside 16 years of clinical practice, Andrew has focused on trigger point dry needling since 2012, runs the @thedryneedlingphysio channels where he shares dry needling education with around 15,000 followers, and is the founder and host of World Health Webinars, an online education platform that delivered courses to more than 5,000 clinicians across 14 countries.
That depth sets the standard for the whole clinic. Whoever you see at PACT works to the same approach Andrew built and treats alongside him, so you get the same careful assessment and the same reasoning behind every treatment decision. You are never on a production line.
Unhurried appointments, honest plans
Every initial consultation at PACT runs a full 60 minutes, one on one with your physiotherapist. That time exists for a reason: a proper history, a real movement assessment, treatment started on day one, and a plain language explanation of what we think is going on and roughly how long recovery should take.
The plan you leave with is honest. If physiotherapy is not the right answer for your problem, or your GP or another practitioner should be involved, we say so. Follow ups run 40 minutes, so there is time to treat and progress the plan, not just repeat it.

Covered whichever way you come to us
Private patients pay $165 for a 60 minute initial consultation and $142 for a 40 minute follow up, with every fee published in full on this site. Medicare CDM patients with a care plan from their GP pay $103.20 for an initial and $80.20 for a follow up after the $61.80 rebate.
Workers compensation and CTP patients with an approved claim pay nothing out of pocket. We bill the insurer directly, handle the certificates and reporting, and under NSW rules you can choose your own physio, so you are free to be treated where you decide, not where a claim letter first pointed you.
One clinic in Miranda, patients from every corner of the Shire
We run one clinic, at Unit 1/196 Sylvania Road, Miranda, in the centre of the Sutherland Shire. That keeps every patient under the one team and the one standard. We are open Monday to Friday 7:30am to 9pm and weekends 8:30am to 6pm, so patients travel in from every suburb, often before work or after dinner, and same day appointments are often available.

What you will actually pay
The full fee is $165 for an initial visit and $142 for a follow up, and every appointment is a full, unhurried session with the time to work through complex, persistent problems. Once your cover is applied, here is what you actually pay.
Before any rebate. Private paying is welcome, and your fee buys the whole session, never a rushed 20 minutes.
A GP Chronic Disease Management referral rebates $61.80 on every visit, up to 5 a year.
The usual out of pocket once you claim on the spot, depending on your level of cover.
Nothing for you to pay at any visit. Accepted workers compensation and CTP motor accident claims are billed straight to your insurer, and we handle the paperwork.
